Research into 3 Major american Music video creators.
I have three people which have inspired my work these 3
people are:
Kid Art is an American based music video director. He is an
upcoming music video director and has produced 4 different videos for 3
different artists. One of his best music videos he has produced was weatherman
Kodak Black.
Christian Breslauer is a young ambitious director. He was born in
South Florida where he was working hard and built his name from there. He
started videoing Miami’s hottest artists. He then moved to LA in 2016 to
continue creating main stream music videos for his best artists. The artists he
has done work for are Chris Brown, Marshmello, Migos and Roddy Ricch. One of
his music videos which he has created for an artist called Roddy Ricch called
Tip Toe. The reason why this is one of my favourite music videos is due to the
fact of the effects used. There is many effects which I want to learn how to do
and put that into my work for my FMP.
CJ Wallis is a Canadian director from Vancouver. He has
released over 100 music videos for some of the biggest artists in the industry
today and also have done 5 feature films. He started his career in 2006 and is
still going strong and is getting more business. He also has been given 10

Rapman is a British rapper, music producer, actor, writer,
and film director. He has recently come up in the British music industry. He creates
short films and also has recently shot a movie called blue story. Rapman is
from Deptford, London, his real name is Andrew Onwubolu. He has become more and
more popular since he has shot a short filmed called Shiro’s story. This was an
8-minute video which was a huge surprise. The also had released 2 more parts of
the sequel. He creates music and videos depending on what actually is happening
in society at that time.
His movie blue story was released in 22 November 2019. It
was based on a group of boys from different postcodes which were fighting over
what they think they own. Rapman has become a major influence on the young
generation as everyone see and understands what he has written and directed.
He has many other short films which he does voice over on and
acted out. There have been many which have been about serious issues which ethnic
minority people have been put down. He was spoken the truth and the way he has
done that was influenced my work.
For my FMP I want to create a music video. But the music I wanted
to create a video for was a grime song. Grime is portrayed as a negative genre
as people believe that it promotes gag violence and negative behaviour to other
people and races. I wanted to change that. I wanted my music video not to only
glorify hate, guns, and violence. I have decided on how to make the music video
to go with the lyrics and make it more understandable. I have a few shots which
people would think whys it here. But I have been trying to make the video flow as
much as possible allowing it to be understandable.
